Antique Table

Review by Gregory Gray of Lynn, MA

Was greeted by a smiling face, then enters Megan my server, very friendly, outgoing and attentive. The restaurant is small, quaint and nicely decorated.

First off, I was delivered a nice plate of focaccia bread with an olive oil blend for dipping. I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir to begin along with a Caesar Salad. The salad was nicely dressed with two thin sliced croutons, a nice change to the normal croutons of most Caesar salads. As an entrée I ordered the Gnocchi Basilico, which is potato pasta tossed with olive oil, garlic, fresh tomatoes, basil and Romano cheese. When my entrée was delivered I was offered freshly grated cheese, which was a nice touch. It was a pleasant change to not have to reach for the salt and pepper shaker, as the pasta was perfectly seasoned. A nice job was done by the entire staff, as each team member was helping the others during my entire meal.

Corey, twitter and foursquare should pay you 🙂 But they’re already doing wonders for Lynn. Just a few years ago, this city barely existed online, at least to anyone living outside of it. Now, Lynn establishments are blasted to the masses all the time. We’re on the map. And speaking of maps, we get to remind people that Antique table is, in fact, in Lynn.

Not to mention the coolest people in Lynn were sitting a table away. 🙂

Great review Greg. Couldn’t agree more. I have some pictures to post on with a review shortly.

Power of Twitter at work here. Greg saw a Retweet (@cojackso) made from @hiddenboston and then saw check in at Antique Table via Foursquare.

Hope you all are on twitter following @cojackso and @grayclown and @mediaseth for great information on what’s going on and where we’re eating.

If you haven’t joined Foursquare yet, you are missing out. It’s beginning to highlight hot spots such as Antique Table, Thai Cafe, Turbine Wine Bar, Blue Ox, Pho Minh Ky, Tatianas, Rincon Macorisano, Fernandos, TLGUTs, Lynn Museum, LynnArts, RAW, Capitol Diner, Mildreds, Christophers Cafe, G Bar, Supreme Bakery, Cal’s News, George’s Roast Beef, Old Tyme Italian, Poulina’s, and the list goes on.
