If you haven’t headed out already, check options to your right. Also, a spontaneous Scrabble tournament is underway at Turbine, 56 Central Sq. Bring your own board or join others.

Friday, 4/1

1. History and Hops at the Lynn Museum, 590 Washington Street. Doors at 7:30pm. Local food by Fernandos. Live music from The Doom Buggies, The Awesomes, and Manifest. DJ Seth will play records in between. Brewers include Brooklyn Brewery, Cape Ann  Brewing Co., Mercury Brewing Co., Smuttynose and Victory. Sounds like a win. 2. The Walnut Street Songwriter’s Circle gets going about 8:30pm. The Cafe is located on 157 Walnut Street. Hosted by Randall Kromm and Nick Zaino.

Saturday, 4/2

1. There’s an Urban Dance Competition at the Lynn Auditorium, presented by Phunk Phenomenon. Doors at 5pm.

2. FretBuzz plays Sand Bar over on 714 Washington Street at 5pm.

Sunday, 4/3

The Squeezebox Stompers Duo are the main feature at Don White’s Sunday Open Mic series at Walnut Street. 157. 6:30pm.
