A Curated Show, open to any artist 17 and older

Opening reception: Saturday, January 26, 2013, 2-4 PM
Entry Fee: $5.00 each piece, maximum of 4 pieces per artist. Non-refundable
Media: An image originally created through photography or containing photography; altered images are welcomed.
Size limitation: There are no size limitations for this show, except entry through a standard door.
Conditions: Work submitted for consideration must be in physical form and delivered to LynnArts during the stated drop off times. Do not transmit work electronically or submit on CD, etc. All work must be original, ready for hanging or display. No wall anchors. Heavy work and work requiring special installation must be installed by the artist. Work previously exhibited in this gallery will not be accepted. LynnArts takes pride in your work: we will not accept broken or damaged work/frames. The galleries are a family, friendly venue; LynnArts reserves the right to refuse any work that may be objectionable to the community at large.
Additional Prints: Artists who submit work to be juried are welcome to bring up to six (6) shrink-wrapped prints for the gallery bin. These prints will be for sale during the stated exhibit dates. There is no additional fee; only artists submitting work can be bring prints. LynnArts retains 50% commission on each print sold during the exhibit.
Drop-off: Thursday, January 17, 11am-7pm, Friday, January 18, 10am-4pm, and Saturday, January 19 11am-4pm at 25 Exchange Street, Lynn, MA. Each piece should include the following on the back: artist’s name, title of piece, medium and price. In addition, please fill out an Artist Inventory List, available at www.lynnarts.org, and submit your artists resume and statement with the work.
Notification: All artists will be notified by e-mail if your work is accepted. If you do not have an e-mail address, please call LynnArts between 1 and 5 pm.
Work not accepted: Must be picked up Wednesday, January 23, Thursday, January 24 or Friday, January 25, during regular business hours.
Accepted work: Unsold work may be picked up on Saturday, March 9 or by special arrangement.
Commission: LynnArts, Inc. retains a 25% commission on all work sold during the exhibit.
Liability: Artwork will be insured upon arrival at LynnArts. We reserve the right not to insure works that are damaged or structurally unsound. Works left at LynnArts beyond the stated pick-up date are not insured and will no longer be the responsibility of LynnArts.
Opportunity for young artists
The Hartman Leigh Children’s Gallery welcomes artists under the age of 17 to exhibit photography of the same conditions.

LynnArts, Inc. is a private non-profit arts organization located in Lynn’s Central Square at 25 Exchange Street. The building houses two large and airy gallery spaces as well as a black-box rehearsal/performance space and several artist studios. The LynnArts office welcomes queries regarding artist exhibition proposals, membership, teaching opportunities, and rental of office and studio space.
