1. Open reception at Visionspace for a special show, curated by Extras for Creative Reuse. All works of art are made from “found objects” at Extra’s upcycling center. 16 City Hall Square, 6 – 10pm, with free coffee and pastry.

2. Hayley Reardon and Friends perform at Walnut Street Cafe, 157 Walnut Street, starting 7:30pm.

3. And here’s another shameless plug for your LynnHappens editor, who will be DJ’ing at the Sand Bar, 714 Washington Street, starting 9pm. It’ll be shameless rock and roll from all its decades and some off-the-beaten path gems.

 

Saturday 1/19

1. Not Bothered is at the Walnut Street Cafe, 157 Walnut Street, 8:30pm.

2. The Greg Gallo Project comes to the Brickyard, 163 Blossom Street, 9pm.

3. Project 4 is at the Sand Bar with Guns of Brighton, 714 Washington Street, 9pm.

4. Strungout Playboys play Rolly’s, 338 Broadway (Wyoma Sq), 9pm.

5. Rock System plays Celley’s Pub with Josef Nadj at 742 Western Ave, 9pm.

 

Sunday, 1/20

Don White’s Sunday Open Mic features Addy and Julia at 157 Walnut Street Cafe and starts around 7:30pm.

 

MLK Monday, 1/21

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service runs 10am to 4pm. Registration was due January 14, but here’s a link to more information.
