Arts After Hours (AAH) will present the incredibly funny production Nunsense A-Men March 7 – 23, 2013 at the Rantoul Black Box Theatre in LynnArts on 25 Exchange Street. Tickets are $30 for a table seat, $25 for the premium row seating and $20 for the regular row seating. For show times, ticket information, and directions please visit or call the box office at (781)205-4010. The show’s content is considered PG.

Nunsense A-Men uses the same script as the original female production where The Little Sisters of Hoboken have discovered that their cook, Sister Julia Child of God, has accidentally poisoned the dinner and the sisters are in need of some serious cash for the burials. With only enough money to bury 48 of the 52 what are they to do? Featuring an all-male cast and tunes such as “Tackle That Temptation with a Time Step” this one is sure to please. Respectful, hilarious, and fun for all ages.

Arts After Hours is excited to once again be reaching out to the community and directly involving them in the production. “For this show, we’ll be incorporating local clergy into the opening of the production,” says Corey Jackson, Managing Director of Arts After Hours. “It will be funny, respectful, and give the show a nice Lynner touch.”

The Arts After Hours’ presentation of Nunsense A-Men will be directed by Kevin Cirone, choreographed by Nicole Spirito, music directed by Mario Cruz, and produced by Corey Jackson, Jane Kelley, Mike Crounse, and Dave Solimine Jr. The production will feature a live band, props that will bring back Catholic school memories, full habits, and a variety show surprise or two from the sisters.

“It is exciting to see, after the success of Evil Dead in the fall and our recent appearance on Chronicle, that the city is really coming out for this one, “ says Jane Kelley. “Our subscriptions are up year over year over 200%. For this production we will be adding additional table seating in the front.” In addition to increased patronage, Arts After Hours is proud to be partnering with many local businesses to help bring high quality theatre to Downtown Lynn. “Without the individuals and companies that have been so generous over the past few years, we’d have never been able to grow this fast,” says Jackson. “We thank you all and hope you enjoy the kick off to Season 3.” For tickets and more information please visit
