From Visionspace:

“Visionspace gallery will be the site of a giant group exhibition, showcasing a wide variety of small works. Each piece of art will be priced at $100. All art will be available to take home the night of the event. This will be a unique opportunity to purchase an amazing piece of art while helping a great cause. Proceeds will go to help local artists and raise money for the production of our “Public Art 3.0″ Photo installation.

Help keep Lynn’s Central Square beautiful!
Come join us on this special night. Improve the heart of the city by supporting the art movement in Lynn.

Our Public Art Series was started in an effort to beautify an underutilized area of the downtown core, in this case, the blank walls of our center railroad bridge. Our goal is to give Lynn’s residents a sense of place and pride while having something beautiful to look at! The positive response to the project has been overwhelming. It has re-enforced our belief that art and culture can bring a community together, foster a creative economy and spark enough momentum to keep the revitalization moving forward. As one of many cities that is fighting through post-industrial struggles, we are firm believers that art, education and community building is the key to turning things around.

When people come into Lynn, they discover that “It’s really not that bad down here after all”. We call this flipping the myth! We are making strides every day and we appreciate you joining us in the important steps we have taken in establishing our Public Art installations!

Free food and refreshments, cash bar, raffles, and art for sale.
All for a good cause! Come one come all!”
