The Caleb Group, a nonprofit affordable housing organization based in Swampscott, is hosting their annual celebration on Thursday, May 9th at the Lynn Museum from 6 – 8 pm.
The evening will raise money for the supportive services that Caleb Service Coordinators provide for our 4,000 residents. There will be beer & wine, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction filled with great items including baseball tickets, art work, a sailing outing, paddleboard lessons and rentals, beautiful crafts, museum memberships and gift certificates to restaurants and services. There is something for everyone! The cost of admission is a tax-deductable $50.
At the heart of The Caleb Group’s mission are the Service Coordinator and the supportive services and programs they make possible. Service Coordinators help residents to stabilize and achieve their greatest level of independence possible by performing and connecting residents to essential services in the larger community such as educational assistance, job training and family support programs. Within Caleb communities the Service Coordinators offer programs and create a supportive network that functions as a safety net for residents.
The Caleb Group provides housing and supportive services in 2,000 housing units at 26 locations in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut. On the North Shore Caleb can be found in Lynn at the Louis Barett Residence and at Pond View Village in Gloucester.
Funds raised on May 9th will help make these supportive programs possible. Caleb is committed to building community, one spirit at a time. For more information about The Caleb Group visit www.thecalebgroup.org, call 781-595-4665 or email email@example.com.
