Bike to the Sea to Hold A Spring Cleanup on Saturday May 11

On Saturday May 11th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Bike to the Sea is sponsoring a spring clean-up along the Saugus portion of the trail.  The work will start at the trail on Central St. (in front of All-City Glass) and will extend up the path in both directions.

All residents are invited to participate. Community clean-up projects are ideal for students as well as those looking for service credits.  Bike to the sea will provide bags and tools, all you need to do is show up!

Bike to the sea was founded in 1993 with the goal of creating the Northern Strand Trail; a bike trail free of cars from the Malden/Everett area of Massachusetts to the beaches in Revere, Lynn and Nahant.  With over 200 members, Bike to the Sea, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation that promotes bicycling and bicycle safety in the area.
