Saturday, 7/27

1. Kids Concert at Red Rock park with the Toe Jam Puppet Band. The fun starts with kids activities at 11am, the band plays from 1 to 2pm.

2. Arts After Hours opens its second season of Shakespeare in Lynn Woods with an adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing, set in Lynn in the 1890’s. Pennybrook Road Entrance, showings at 1pm and 4pm. See this post and artsafterhours.com for more show times, information and tickets.

3. La Chic Mentoring Fundraiser at Fraser Field, 7pm. See this post for more information.

4. Girls Night Out Karaoke Fundraiser for Building Bridges Through Music at the Salem VFW, 95 Derby Street. $15 at the door.

3. Annual Haitian Action Orphans Mission Gala at the Franco American, 535 Western Ave., $30 includes dinner, band, silent auction, 6 to 10pm.

4. Don White’s Sunday Open Mic at Walnut Street Cafe features Steve Burke this week and starts around 7:30pm at 157 Walnut Street.
