The Formula Showcase – All Female Edition and Food Drive

Sept 20th @ The Elks Lodge (40 Oak St) in Peabody
Wreck Shop Movement Presents:
The Formula Hip Hop Showcase & Food Drive (All Female Edition) with live performances, spoken word, art, & DJ’s

In 2003, Wreckshop Movement was founded in Lynn by Justice Born, sometimes called Just Be, birth name Justin Morley. Their mission, posted on their web site, is “…bringing conscious Hip Hop music and culture to the people to increase public awareness of important issues of our time.”

Friday’s show benefits Haven From Hunger of Peabody, but the food drive isn’t the only thing different about this show. “The reason this show is an all female edition is because we haven’t had much female talent on our shows and it seemed like a good idea to dedicate a show entirely to them.”

Justice says that now he is back in Lynn, he’d like to start working on having events in Lynn again and get involved with the community, as well as offering positive hip hop performances in area schools.
