Recorded at St. Stephen’s Church in Lynn on October 26th.
Editor’s note: Candidates Chris Stockwell and Seth Moulton participated. Richard Tisei’s campaign sent notice that he was ill. Stockwell and Moulton answered the same questions, but did not share the stage. The first half is Stockwell, followed by Moulton. There were some microphone issues as well as a distorted speaker near the camera, but it is still possible to hear. (LynnHappens’ parent company UPSIDEMEDIA wants to make it clear that it can provide PA systems at an extreme discount for political forums it covers – for self interest as well as audience interest!)
Just the political forum portion of the evening is included from a larger event that included song and prayer – more because of time and audio issues than anything else.
The Essex County Community Organization (ECCO) is a congregation based community organization on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Since 1981, ECCO’s organizing has brought about significant improvements for our communities in job training, health care, youth development, housing, and safety. Our vision is that through ECCO, congregations have the opportunity to live out their faith’s call for justice. Through our organizing, the voices of thousands of North Shore residents are heard, and their struggles for justice and equity are successful in bringing about social change.
