Friday, 10/31

1. DisTRICKt or Treat at participating businesses in the Downtown Lynn Cultural District, 4 to 6pm. See post for map and list of businesses.

2. Scary Amounts of Fun at the Lynn YMCA at their Halloween Extravaganza 6 to 8pm with dancing, costume contest, games, healthy snacks and more. $5 per child (sorry, this is for kids!) $10 per child without parent. 20 Neptune Blvd.

3. Creedence Clearwater Revisited at the Lynn Auditorium, 3 City Hall Square, 8pm. Check out this interview by Blake Maddux.

4. 80’s Halloween party with DJ Nomadik at Tatiana’s, 70 Market Street, $5, 21+ 8pm.

5. Arts After Hours presents Cannibal! the Musical at the Neal Rantoul Black Box Theatre in LynnArts, 25 Exchange Street at 8pm. Please see artsafterhours.com for tickets further information. Some tickets left!

6.Susan Jervis and Friends play 157 Walnut Street Cafe at 8:30pm.

7. 80’s Reunion Band Halloween Party at Lazy Dog, 328a Broadway (Wyoma Sq), 9pm.

8. Sneaky Pete plays Celley’s Pub, 742 Western Ave., 9pm.

9. Your local establishment’s Halloween Party, everywhere, at night.

 

Saturday, 11/1

1. Story-telling with Nicolette Nordin-Heavey for families and children 6+ on topics such as fairness, courage and dreams. Snacks provided. Free at the Lynn Public Library, 1:30 to 2:30pm.

2. Ian Anderson (of Jethro Tull) is at Lynn Auditorium, 3 City Hall Square. Doors 6:30, show 8pm. See our interview, by Blake Maddux.

The open mic at 157 Walnut Street Cafe will feature Jeff Savlon and be hosted by DK at about 7:30pm.
