Businesses may qualify for low interest loans from the EDIC, which is more likely to approve a loan than banks. Facade and signage improvement grants are available through Community Development, and Calvin Anderson of the Historical Commission chimed in that they can consult on color and design. Jared Nicholson spoke of Northeast Legal Aid’s free services for those who qualify to help with forming an LLC and negotiating leases, for some examples.

Presentations were followed by a brief question and answer period. Use the links at the top of this post to find out more.
