From Colt Mallett –

“As some of you may know, a great friend of ours Anthony Melanson, unexpectedly passed away last year. The Melanson Charitable Corporation was organized by Samantha Lyle, Neil Dunlop and myself Colt Mallett as a way to keep Tony’s memory alive by making a positive change in our local community. Our ultimate goal is to provide a financial scholarship to a qualifying high school student to reduce the financial burden of attending a college or university. We will be holding a series of fund raising events throughout the year.”

It kicks off at noon Saturday at the Four Winds and ends up at the Hibernian Hall, wrapping up around 7pm. Stops along the way include Lazy Dog, Rolly’s, Tony’s, & Lido Cafe.

Registration for the pub crawl is full, at 90+ people who made a minimum donation of $30. Organizer Colt Mallett says the the cap is because of the maximum capacity of some of the bars on the itinerary, but donations are still welcome through paypal.

The Melanson Charitable Corporation (Open Arms) is a 501c3 charity focused on providing funds for the benefit of a qualifying high school student or students from our community to reduce or eliminate the costs in connection with attending any college, university or educational institution upon graduation.
