Public Invited to Celebrate Arts in April at NSCC

The Arts and Culture Committee at North Shore Community College invites the public to NSCC’S annual celebration of arts and culture, Arts in April, which begins April 21, 2015.

The two-week series of events will feature guest speakers and artists and a range of arts and culture-based activities including: One World Taiko, a Japanese drum ensemble; National Slam Poet Champ, Regie Gibson; portrait photography sittings; staged readings of student work; a discussion panel about the world of comic books, and a dance concert.  Faculty, staff and student art work will be displayed in both campus libraries.  Also featured this year will be a two-day Path of the Peacemakers Gathering.

All events are free and open to the public and will be held at either the Danvers Campus, 1 Ferncroft Road, the Lynn Campus, 300 Broad Street or at an off-campus location.
