On Friday, Soraya Cacici of Nest Forward threw a little party in a loft while the owners were out. (With their permission, of course.)

The loft at 70 Exchange Street in downtown Lynn has been featured in Dwell Magazine and is listed for $314,000.

The event featured art by Brandon Gorski and Alicia Brunet, architecture by Dan Hisel Architect and interior design by Live Well interiors + design. Live music was provided by Keith Elliot.

The art show itself was called Natural Guides and featured work inspired by native culture.

Food and wine were complimentary for the 80+ folks who RSVP’d and it was sponsored by Nest Forward – MA, Raw Art Works, and George Koutsos, VP of PMAC Lending Services, Senior Mortgage Consultant.

Photos were taken with a camera/lens combo that really called for a flash, but here they are anyway.

Immediately to the left when you enter is a bank vault with ceilings high enough for a lofted bed with closets underneath. That sign is just as valid today as it was when the building had other uses.Good thing they left it.

Look closely at the TV screen. I spy the Happens Headquarters! Nest Forward had a nice video looping that highlights the area.

This is still early – before the bulk of the crowd showed up.

That thing in the middle of the room with the TV and shelves? That’s a bedroom. The other side of it is lined with closets…

…and beyond it, a generous children’s play area.

Copies of the Dwell Magazine feature were available, with much better photos than mine.

Thoroughly modern bathroom.

And then it was too crowded to get a good photo of the kitchen. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it.
