Volunteers from the Highlands Coalition, KIPP Academy Lynn and Boston International Christian Church’s Mercy crew joined forces Saturday to plant community gardens and make general improvements at Cook Street Park in the Highlands.

Afterwards, they gathered in a circle. The church group sang in English, and then David Gass lead a song, Shalom Aleichem, in Hebrew.
