So uh… How’s Western Ave. treating you these days?

From MassDOT –

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has launched an online survey to collect information on commuter habits and travel patterns on Route 107, referred to as Highland Avenue in Salem and Western Avenue in Lynn. The survey can be accessed online in English and Spanish at: www.fluidsurveys.com/s/route107.  MassDOT encourages residents, commuters and business owners to participate in the survey and share their experiences.

The survey is part of a MassDOT study of the Route 107 corridor, between Chestnut Street in Lynn and Boston Street in Salem, in conjunction with the two cities. The study will propose improvements to address existing and future transportation issues for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

MassDOT has convened a Working Group, composed of state and local stakeholders, to provide input on the study at key milestones. The first of two public meetings will be scheduled later this year.

Those interested in learning more and receiving email updates on the study should visit the project website: www.mass.gov/massdot/route107.
