“An emotionally powerful and intimate musical, The Last Five Years follows two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. The show’s unconventional structure consists of Cathy, an actor, telling her story backwards while Jamie, a novelist, tells his story chronologically.”

“Named one of Time Magazine’s 10 best shows of 2001, the Off-Broadway smash hit, The Last Five Years, has been one of the most popular plays in the country.  Its continued regional popularity ensured The Last Five Years an Off-Broadway revival in 2013, and a film adaptation starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan (Smash, Super Girl) in 2015.”
