Zane, I haven’t heard anything yet. Sorry. I will update when any news comes in. Bryn, I’m not an expert on the differences (if any) between an emotional support dog and service dog, but neither of that changes the fact that this dog is missing and needs to be recovered. I simply apply the terminology used be the folks who reach out to me for help. Stacey, that sounds like great advice and I will message the owners with that information.

Please edit this, an emotional support animal is not the same as a service dog. There is a lot of confusion surrounding this and it creates serious problems for those with actual service dogs.
I hope she is returned, as I’m sure her owner is distraught without her.

Please have the owner fill out a lost dog report at http://www.missingdogsmass.com/#!lost-dog-form/c14bc so they can make a lost/stolen dog poster and share it with their thousands of followers on facebook and make it easier for people to share on their pages. Posting the lost/stolen posters around the neighborhood will also make the thief more likely to return the dog as they know people are out looking for her.
