As if it needed to be said, we’re in a serious drought. The notice says, “…the reservoir system that serves as the City of Lynn’s drinking water supply has been reduced to below 56% of its maximum capacity.”
Editor’s note: This is one of many documents I receive at LynnHappens or find circulating on social media that has the appearance of being created on a computer, printed, then scanned back into a computer to share with others via computer. It’s this editor’s opinion that there’s a few wasted steps and a lot of wasted paper involved, except perhaps in situations where notices must be printed to be mailed, and in those cases, why not electronically distribute the better-quality original computer file as a PDF? Training staff should take a mere twenty minutes, tops.
