From the Lynn Shelter Association –
On Saturday, September 30, after experiencing heavy rains and flooding that caused issues throughout the city of Lynn, the Lynn Shelter Association’s (LSA) Emergency Shelter experienced significant internal flooding to space that provides emergency shelter for more than 60 homeless individuals each night, as well as shelter from the elements during the day. We are extremely grateful to Pastor Kurt Lange and the congregation at East Coast International Church for lending a helping hand when needed. East Coast International Church offered space for guests to sleep while work was completed on the interior of the shelter.
“The Lynn Shelter Association is extremely grateful to Pastor Kurt Lange and the entire congregation at East Coast International Church, who selflessly offered their help and support when our homeless guests were forced to evacuate the emergency shelter,” remarked Executive Director Mark Evans. When the shelter was faced with crisis; it was Pastor Kurt and the East Coast International Church to the rescue. LSA would like to offer a public and heartfelt “Thank You” to our friends and neighbors at the East Coast International Church for supporting our homeless guests at a challenging time.
The Lynn Shelter Association also has a Fashion Show fundraiser next month at Zimmans.
