Multi-platinum power house vocal group The Tenors will light up the holiday season with their show at the Lynn Auditorium.   The Tenors, Victor Micallef, Clifton Murray, and Fraser Walters will be performing songs from their new album “Christmas Together.”

SD: Can tell us about the evolution of The Tenors?

The group was founded back in 2009. I auditioned and got the gig. So far, it has been an incredible experience. I love that we are not your grandmother’s music. Since the beginning, we have each grown professionally and personally. I think with each album, we continue to evolve with our sound and our music.

SD: How would you describe the kind of music that you do?

CM: It’s a collection of different genres. We represent the tenor voice in all music. For this tour, we will be singing Christmas songs, spiritual pieces, timeless classics, and an a cappella number. There are also 2 new original songs that we will be singing.

SD: What is your favorite song to perform on the new album “Christmas Together?”

CM: This is a hard question. I would have to say “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.” As a song goes, I think it vocally features us all brilliantly. For me, the song is like a warm Christmas blanket.

SD: What do you enjoy most about touring for the holidays?

CM: I am a bit of a foodie. I love exploring new restaurants when we are out on tour. Finding the best food to eat is a real joy for me. Besides the food, I love sharing our music with the fans. I love the holidays, because everyone gets in a joyful spirit and sharing the love of the holidays with one another is perfect.

SD: What is a goal and/or resolution you have for 2018?

CM: More music! After the holidays, we will be heading back into the studio. We will also be going back out on tour in Europe and Asia. Our main focus for 2018, is really going to be all about new music and building our fan base.  Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
