Don’t ask how word just got out online today, but this is one of the city’s most important monuments to the sacrifices of soldiers that happens to be a time capsule of a museum built by veterans of the Civil War, and it needs your help.
Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 6pm, the GAR Committee will be meeting at 58 Andrew Street for the initial commencement of the revivification of the Grand Army Republic Hall & Museum. Admission is free. Donations are very welcome.
“We intend to bring this historic treasure back to the glory always envisioned by the men and women of Lynn after the American Civil War.”
*We found out thanks to the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Lynn Cultural District
