A little rain couldn’t stop Lynn’s Juneteenth celebration, which was moved to the gym at Lynn Tech from the Common.

Various organizations and vendors brought their tables indoors, as well. Plus, there was food available, including a King Arthur Bake Off – and a line-up of entertainers including the Jah Jah Drummers, Poetry from KIPP students, Afrobella Caribbean Dance, Purpose Classical Soul Band, Fidelia Eleazu, Cultura Latina Dance, spoken word by Big Brother Sadi, Hip Hop by Kaleo, and Honeree Estee Nack. A DJ filled in the gaps between the performer and speeches by Alex Cuevas of Bodega Makeover, Bryan of Calisthenics Lynn and Jamie Figueroa.
