From EforAll Lynn –

EforAll Lynn will be hosting a Pitch Contest on October 11th from 6pm – 8pm located at Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development 9 Church Street. This event is free and open to the public.

For aspiring entrepreneurs, this is a golden opportunity to test their business or non-profit idea and to win prize money for it.  Prizes will be chosen by a panel of local judges, and the prizes are $1,000 for the Grand Prize winner, $750 for Second Place, $500 for Third Place and $500 for the Fan Favorite (audience votes via text messaging.)

General attendees have a fun and important role in the evening, too. During the first hour of the evening, also known as the “showcase”, attendees and entrepreneurs mingle. The energy abounds as attendees hear the entrepreneur’s stories, offer constructive feedback and ask direct questions about the idea. Ultimately, attendees cast a vote for the one entrepreneur whom they believe deserves the last slot to pitch!
