Photos of Hodgepodge 2010
This is LynnHappens’ largest photo gallery yet, with 110 images.
The eight hour music festival was organized by Dean Albert of This Day in History and Dom Landry of Slurm and held at the Lynn Woods Ampitheater near the Pennybrook Road entrance on July 25th, 2010.
The lineup included Slurm, This Day in History, Fiddlehead, The Informers, Under a Burning Sky, Standards of Excellence, It’s Never Not a Massacre, The Zen Heads, Exempt, Strangers, Lynn Ly and Piano 101. Styles ranged from folk/acoustic to funk to pop-punk to metal and many of the performers were local or had ties to Lynn.
In fact, many of them had the same music teacher, who was kind enough to attend. But Ralph Granese was still surprised by a call to join them onstage for Hotel California by the Eagles.
When raindrops were felt just before the Fiddlehead set, young concert goers and a few adult volunteers quickly improvised a cover so the show could go on. Although, it seems someone had the forethought to have tarps handy.

What a FANTASTIC day!!!! Thanks so much, Seth, for the amazing pictures and coverage.
What a terrific day! Lynn has magnificent talent (which we already knew)! Dean and Dom with their friends(and family members) put on an excellent show! What a variety of musical styles- something for everyone! Bringing our city’s guitar playing mentor, Ralph Granese, on stage was as touching as it was tasty. I am so proud and honored to live in the same city with such innovative and hard working people. Thank you. We had so much fun!
Great write up and pics,

This event was a success on all levels. Many thanks to all those involved. As the mom of two of the Informers, I was very proud to see not only them, but all of the many talented musicians have the opportunity to perform for such a large crowd. I agree with Sue Strakus, recognizing Mr. Ralph Granese for the influence he has had on many of the performers was tasteful, classy and touching and a true display of bridging the “generation gap”. Looking forward to HodgePodge II.
Hi Seth,
Great pictures! I was impressed by our grandson Dean, what a great job Dean! All of the music was terrific! I hope that my old friend Ralph realizes what a wonderful job he has done to influence these kids. Looking forward to the next HodgePodge 2.
