Signs of Lynn – New Angle Glass

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

Murphy’s Law dictated that each and every time I had my camera while passing the New Angle Glass sign on the Lynnway, it would be off. Without my camera, the sign would surely be lit. Yesterday, things aligned and I got the shot.

If you have a suggestion for a Signs of Lynn or a photo of your own to submit, send it along. I recommend watermarking your photo with your photography company or personal name. I can add it for you.

New Angle Auto Glass Company Neon Sign

This from the docs: The sign is the oldest active neon sign along the Lynnway, intact with original red and green neon glass tubing. The design follows classic postwar form highlighted by a neon outlined boomerang angle suspended between channeled neon letters above and below on both faces of the sign board, which is hung on paired steel pylons.
