July 3rd – A day of music by the ocean, capped by fireworks

Tuesday, June 29, 2010

The World Folk Festival starts off the day at Heritage State Park at 2pm, featuring two stages by the Seaport Landing complex. Food will also be available.  Parking is off the Lynnway or in North Shore Community College’s lot with access by the footbridge. This park is one of Lynn’s best kept secrets. At 7pm, the World Folk Fest wraps up and the celebration continues at Red Rock Park with a concert thrown by The Friends of Lynn and Nahant Beach featuring Lois Lane & The Daily Planets until 9pm.

And of course, the fireworks begin at 9pm.
